I've tried searching to find out what the white webby looking thing is that's forming on my elegance that I just got about a month ago. Not to mention that I read that over the past few years they have become difficult to have and my LFS said "they were hardy" and "great for beginners", I am a tad angry at him right now. Does anyone know a website where I can find all the info I need on how to care for it, I don't want to loose it.

If it jelly like usually its not a good sign.
Usually receeding begins quickly and most times even trying to frag the parts that look uneffected will demise.....
