Elegance Coral

Anyone have experience with these? My girlfriend is thinking about getting one, but just want to know if they are hard to keep.

i have heard stories that they are hard to keep, but have no experience with them....

if I remember correctly, the ones that have kept them had them in dirty water conditions. but they are very hard to successfully keep.

Mel has had some success in keeping these corals, If you do get one make Sure It's an Australian Elegance as they have a better success rate long term. But overall they do not last very long in most systems, But there are exceptions to that!

The ONLY ones that survive in home aquaria are Aussie elegances. If they derive from anywhere else...ie Malaysia, India, etc they will quickly wither away and perish.

we had someone at the swap who was having really good success with them. I think it was House of Corals? The husband and wife team from Wisconsin...

yeah, we got one, because it was a good price, so I hope that it survives, it sure if beautiful.
