Elegance fragging

So I have been fragging my elegance corals for a year now. I have made about 20 frags from my 3 mother colonys that were all frags from my original colony. My question is has anybody had there corals morph color after fragging? I have one that is a little different than all my frags and the mother colony. All mine have a bright green rim and green tentacles with a purple base. Except one it lacks the green rim but has green tentacles. All are healthy and growing. I have them in the same conditions as the frags are side by side. This is also one of the bigger frags and one I have had a little while.

Over 10 years the one that is purple with green rim is an indo. There are actually 3 big ones and several small frags in pic. A buddy of mine fraged it off of his colony that he had for 10 years prior. Si these frags have came from a colony that has been in the hobby now 20 years. My pink tipped australian is over 3 years. And the 2 purple tipped green ones are new at about 2 months.

Beautiful corals! How are you fragging them?

I cut or sometimes break the Skelton when I get to where the flesh is I use a razorblade. I had these for years and the biggest piece developed lines in the Skelton almost like a Crack that made it easily to break. I am at a point where the next time I will have to use a saw or dremel tool. They look horible for a couple days after fragging but heal realitivly quick about 30 days to grow across the break here are a few pics I fraged a bigger chunk off let it heal then I fragged it even smaller. I took two pieces and made 5 frags

And the cool thing is some of these would be perfect for nano tanks. Although they would outgrow it in a short time

You obviously know what you're doing with elegance, those are all really nice, and very cool with the fragging.
How often do you feed them?

That's great thanks for sharing , I have an Aussie one about 14" opened 2-3 years old I want to cut in half . Would you recommend that or cut the skeleton closer to the ends

I don't target feed my corals but I overfeed my fish and my corals get plenty. I am sure it helps with growth . As far as cutting I have taken just the end off and I have cut in half. If you frag it the tissue is deeper than you think. Start from the bottom and go towards the flesh. I always finish seperating it by breaking the last bit of skelton and slice the flesh as clean as I can with a razor blade.

Do you dip them after fragging? If so, in what?

I don't dip after I frag. I put them right back in the tank. I don't want to stress them.

Do you cut down the middle of the mouth or just right off the edge
