elegance hit by sniper plz advise

no sign yet of a skeleton. i must correct myself 4 attempts the first was a over a year ago im guessing. before i knew that you really should not disturb a dsb my tank and elle looked like this

it would swell to the size of a volleyball at times. well after that only half of it died im guessing because it was so big and healthy not because i knew what to do to save it. that was attempt #1
well now fast forward to my first post here, he spent some time in a plastic fish collection thing but i felt it was suffocating in there as the flow buy was only on the top so i built the egg crate box. attempt #2 i had it in it but i didnt put the mesh bottom in so somewhere in the night 1/2 of it slipped through a square well when the light came on and later that night when i came hom to find him fully expanded on boath sides of the bottom pannel man i thought after all that i kill it this way. so i turn off the flow and lights and about 5 hrs later i was able to work his shrunken body back through the hole still in one pice with no rips in the flesh. it lived next night fully expanded under the lights. #3 and #4 i am guessing because i had a lower panel in the front only 3 squares high i think my bleny is going in after tasty soft hair alge and flipping it out of the box. one time i came home and found it in a ball slowly boucing up and down in he current and the other on the other side of the tank wedged under a rock. that first pic was from under the rock rescue. ok enough words

sunnin un disturbed when i got home 5 squares high in front 6 laying front to back

and turned right side back up all ****ed off now
well thats it i hope someone can learn from my mistakes

In the center picture there is a white spot almost center the pic. Could that be a calcium deposit building up in the tissue? It's hard to tell from the pic. If it is, that would be incredible. I am still amazed that it looks as healthy as it does. I think this coral is going to make it.

the nubb in the bottom right of that spot might be, that spot is (was) one of the areas where it mounted it self to the skelle.
i will update every now and then but in doing this photo thing i found those old pictures and it just bummed me out. that nice pic is 2 1/2 years or so into the tank, oh well what can i do now? i learn more and more each day and x-mass is here i am getting new filters for my ro/di long overdue and some other stuff so there is still hope...........

sadly no. about a week and a half ago i came home from work and found his box empty. even with the exta high wall i put in front it still got out. i still think it was the alge blenny flipping him out. i usually was able to find him floating arround the tank or wedged under a rock all puffed up. not this time gone without a trace. i held hope for a day or two he would surface but i never saw it again. i think that will be the last one i bring home. it had a good run. i have a nice purp ric i have got to split into four new shrooms i think ill work on them for a while. thanks agin for all of your input. final thoughts dont hit a soft coral from 4 feet away with a power head. dont let your ca drop to 360 with softies and boxes need a lids. that thing made it 2 months i bet it could have kept on going
