elegance touching?

i am running out of room...is it ok to put two ausie elegances next together? i have two hammers next to each other and are doing fine fine

NOt many of us are lucky enough to have more than one. I have seen pictures of it done, but I'm not sure if that was just frags from the mother colony.

I believe they should be OK, but I would shoot a PM to elegance coral, or someone else with multiples. You can find people in the elegance show-off thread with multiple specimens.

They will be fine, but if you are already running out of room, you may want to start looking for a larger tank. They grow pretty quick. You will be over crowded before you know it.

elegance, what do you consider their growth rate to be when healthy? inch per??

FWIW, I have two Aussie elegance frags (of two different varieties) fairly close to one another (only an inch apart or so when both are fully expanded), and they have not shown any ill effects. Have had them placed that close to one another for perhaps four months.

thanks guys..no ill effects..they are behaving..both are pink tips ausies, one from Atlantis one from Zoanuts. sorry no pix..but i will try to get them up...both are very very healthy and i dont target feed..dont know what they are eating

They will be fine i have 30 of them in a shallow 24x24x6 tank in the store.
