Hello,
Has anyone had any luck eliminating GSP from a rock? I have some on a rock and don't want to tear down the structure to remove the rock with the GSP on it.

Well I had this black sea hare that did a wonderful job :) I bought him to eat algae, but he/she mowed down my GSP instead...., that was a year ago, it has since died, not sure where you can find them, mine was just a coincidence.....other than that...cut and siphon...cut and siphon!

Remove the rock and try to peel off as much as you can, and then whatever is left, try to kalk, or cover with super glue

Like anything. I had some rock I had outside for weeks and weeks and the mat was still there.

Heard of people using a torch on rocks with major aiptasia problems. Dont see why it wouldnt work for GSP.

I just tore apart my tank for many reasons including wanting to do a better aquascape and needing to drill the floor to plumb to the basement but the final kick in the butt I needed to finally start the project was that my gsp got too close to my favorite sps. I took a hammer and chisel to the rocks the gsp was on and it's gone for good.

Prior to this... what I found worked for smaller patches of it was to make a 2part putty pancake and completely cover it. Yesterday when I was ridding it from my rocks I pulled off one of my prior putty pancakes and it was pure live rock underneath, no gsp. I'm not sure how long it takes to work but I had put that putty over it about 3 months ago.
