Eliminating Red bugs

I just discovered last night that I have red bug on my SPS. Since then I removed them from my main tank into my smaller tank until I can run interceptor.

My question is, I dont want to run interceptor on my main tank and kill off the pods / snails. Will the red bugs in the main tank eventually die if I dont introduce the SPS back in? (Say for 3-4 weeks?)

Interceptor wont kill snails. But the life cycle of red bugs is only 5 days, so they won't live too long without any acros in your system.
