hi, i have decided to keep the small mini tank and try to set it up for my mom before i leave the states. is it a lot of work to maintain a small tank? the tank is about 12 x 12 x 14.

could someone recommend a good book for beginners? also, since it's such a small tank what would be the max amount of fish that could live harmoniously in it and also be relatively low maintenance for my parents? i was thinking of getting 1-2 clownfish and maybe some little crabs. or are there specific breeds of fish that do well in smaller tanks?
