I plan on putting this fixture on a System 70 and wanted to get opinions on whether or not it will have enough kick for my 40 or so SPS frags that i plan on growing out over the next couple years. I know itll work fine, but i see so many of the super successful SPS tanks around here with 250w or better.
i currently have a 150 watt 20K XM aquamedic pendant with no supplementation on a 25 gallon cube. things are doing great, but more light is in order. My H2O parameteres are spot on, 78, 8.2, 35, 410, 3.5, 1300, no trates, p04, etc. 70x times flow, bb.
I am really leaning towards a 250 watt set up, or at least the planet II with 150 watt of mh and 4x24 T5's...
please advise...thx.
