Not sure if this is really crispata or not. But she laid eggs today. Not sure if I am going to pull the eggs or leave them in the tank. Anyone have any advice?

They can have very long lasting pelagic larvae or benthic miniatures of the adults.

I used to remove egg masses when i found them and sit them in a 5 gallon tank with an air bubbler and some byropsis. I would check daily, and soon I would have some tiny nudibranchs.

the last time I tried it they were pelagic larvae so I got no where.

If your larvae are pelagic, probably be better for you to just sell those and get more. IMO

Fantastic Photography!

Whether they are benthic or pelagic the larvae would do best in a very lof flow tank. like with an airstone.

(however in my 34 gallon long with large HOB filter and 100 gallon rated seaclone skimmer I found 4 1/2 inch ones that had to have survived from the eggs that I must have missed)

Are you still planning on raiseing them?

Good luck! please keep the pictures coming!

Not sure if I am going to pull them as I don't have a good supply of hairy algae outside of the seahorse brood stock tank. They appear to be developing rapidly. Lots of movement inside the eggs, not sure how much longer before they hatch.

The entire strand is slightly less than 1cm across. They are starting to take shape. I may cut a few out and put them under the microscope tomorrow for a better picture if they make it that long.
