Emaciated 7 year old Potters Wrasse

Over the last month my potters wrasse has stopped showing interest in food. It still eats but not very much and is super skinny. Could it be old age? All other fish look great.

Many years ago I had a cleaner wrasse that had a similar issue. I had him for about 3 years and he slowly stopped eating, colors faded, etc. it kinda looked like someone getting old, grey, and withered. All of the other fish in the tank were thriving. He did pass away. At the time I chalked it up to old age. Online sources at the time estimated wrasse lifespans to be limited. I think today we understand that these creatures can live much longer than was suspected back then.

Anyhow, based on what I know about cleaner wrasses now, I suspect some kind of nutritional deficency was the cause of that fish's demise.

Eatbreakfast's comment is a good point. Have you added anything ot your tank in the last several months that a parasite could have come in with?

Nothing new has been added. I feed a ton of different foods. Most get soaked in selcon.
