Emaciated blue throat trigger

I've had a pair of blue throat triggers for maybe a year and half. Six or eight months ago, the male began getting thinner. The yellow along his fins faded, but no other obvious external symptoms. The female and all of the other fish didn't show any problems. The male didn't completely stop eating, but he became less aggressive and more picky at feeding time. Shortly after, he began eating better again and the thinning appeared to stop (though he didn't put the weight back on, at least not much).

He stayed in this "holding pattern" for months until about two weeks ago he abruptly began sitting on the bottom between rocks and wouldn't move or eat. He ate fine the night before. This went on for a couple days and I scooped him out of the 180 and put him in a 10 gallon tank and began treating him with Metroplex at the recommendation of my LFS. I've tried mysis and other frozen food, both garlic soaked and plain, as well as pellets and brine and he doesn't appear interested. :( I keep brine swimming around in there and I'm hoping he's picking some off while I'm not watching, but I doubt it. He has started moving around more, but it might just be the stress of being in a small tank.

He's definitely skin and bones at this point. :sad1: Ideas?

Thanks!!
