Emerald crab bitting brain coral

I got brain coral couple of days ago and it opened fine right away, but today it seemed retracted and I saw emerald crab nearby, do you think that crab might be the culprit?

Here is the before pic which is taken by Nikon D3100 DSLR

Is it normal for these guys to get scared like that, all my other corals are doing great. This pic i took it with my iphone sorry about the bit dark color.

I have 4 emerald crabs in my tank and I never see them mess with anything. While I do keep a good eye on them I highly doubt your crab is to blame unless your not feeding enough. When not fed properly anything will eat anything.

From the picture it the brain doesn't seem to have any damage. They will deflate like that for many reasons, things picking at em, flow, light, etc. If you don't see the crab ripping off pieces of flesh, I don't think there's a problem. I have 3 emerald crabs in my 90g and they don't bother anything. They'll pick algae from around the base of corals, which might annoy the coral, but I've never seem them actually do any damage.
