Emerald Crab eating LPS?

I just witnessed my red emerald crab just DESTROYING my Frogspawn. Anyone else ever notice this?

All crabs are "technically not reef safe". That includes hermits, emeralds, etc. Anything can happen. With that said, I have some too! :lol:

This guy was just going to town! I sat there with my mouth open and started yelling at him. He didn't stop though so he had to then be flicked off the rock.

I suggest doing more than just flicking him off the rock. He's just going to go back there again. Banish him to a sump, put in a fish only display, or give him away to someone that doesn't have corals.

He must of seen a sprig of hair algae and was simply removing the coral to get to the algae ?????? JK
