emerald crab problems!!!

I have had an emarald crab for about 7months and he has never molted and looks pale in color. He also has some sort of sponge like stuff growing on his legs making him walk funny. Is there anything I need to suplement to help with molting, and should I be worried about the growth?

get him out and see what the growth is, try and post a pic, we can't help if we can't see it.

FME, they get pale because they are lacking the right diet. You need to supplement them with algae or it will never molt and die.

I have plenty of algea and nori in the tank for everyone to feed on. he ate all the bubble algea in the tank within a month.
