Emerald Crab Videos

Just wanted to share a couple videos I took of my Emerald Crabs. I find them extremely entertaining! I hope you enjoy!

That was GREAT!! Very good videos! I just got an Emerald Crab today. I hope mine is as cool as yours!

I hope so too for your sake! I love watching mine, they entertain me more than anything else in my tank. I just finished watching one continuously shove my seahorse out of his way. He was gentle, but very determined! The seahorse would creep up on him to see what he was eating, and he would raise his large claw and slowly puuuuuush him away...again and again He was cracking me up.

nice videos, mine prefers eating coraline rather than the abundant bubble algae lol, they deff are characters, he tries "catching" my clown fish lol, it doesnt phase the fish at all, sometimes i forget about him then i see a claw outta nowhere

Ohhh! I bet that was too cute! Too bad you didn't get it on video. You'll have to catch that next time!

I AM worried about the coraline algae eating. I have been reading a lot today ,since I brought him home, about the fact that they will sometimes eat it. Although my tank is only about 3-4 months old, all my rock is covered in coraline. Will he destroy it?

I have a 24 gallon nano. Lots of soft frag corals and some LPS. Also 3 frag SPS birdsnest. Fish are 1 purple firefish, 1 six line wrasse, 1 tail spot blenny, and 1 fire shrimp. Also clean up crew of hermits and various snails.

Fingers crossed, I got a nice one!!
