emerald crab

Hi,

My emerald crab is eating the legs of the sally lightfoot one by one.
The poor sally is left with only one leg now...

So, my stupid question of the day is: DO crabs re-grow legs?
Or the por Sally is S.O.L.????

one or 2 legs maybe.. but most no.... kiss him good by cause with only 1 leg won't be able to take care of its self... besides the only good crabs are acro or porcelin. everything else has a good chance of eating other livestock including hermits

I thought the same thing about my sally light foot, even removed what I thought was his corpse from the tank. Come to find out he had moulted. He is now twice as big and doing fine as is the emerald crab.
