Is it in the relm of possability for emeralds to chow on some zoas? Or am I just being a scared new guy and the crab is picking at the rocks around the polyps? I tried watching him and couldnt get a good angle on what he was going after, I am just curious if I should be getting worried and should banish him to a different tank.

If you starve them they will look for something to eat. Most likely they are picking the rocks for algae. Zoas are very chemcially defended so I am not sure they could eat them and live. Generally corals benefit from their relationship with Mithraculus, provided they are not starving to death. Most of the problems people have are because they have starving crabs in their tank.

Ok then, what should I be providing them to eat? I got it as part of a package and I am not very read up on them. Thanks
Scott

Sorry,

I feed mine, a gel diet with some algae in it. Anything algae based diet would work well. You can use just about anything you want, just make sure to feed them directly.
