Doesn't someone have a quad?

Even if someone did it may be tough getting past the barracades if the cops are there.

I'd hate to be the one to try to convince the cop exactly how serious a fish emergency is LOL there's not that many of us out there!

Best of luck Russ, hope you make it. Worst case scenario, Russ has given so many of us frags that if anything in his tank doesn't make it, he'll have enough given back to fill up two tanks. I know I've got a couple in my tank from him. ...... I think we're going to buy a generator later on this week, just in case.

I once went for 10 hours without power...I had a generator to keep 1 tank stable, but the other I used what water was in the hot water heater to fill 1 gallon ziplocks and floated them double bagged. It kept the temp at around 73 using 1 ziplock on 37 gallons...

All the best of luck Russ. I'm sort of close by, but I don't think I can be of any help as I don't have a generator =(

If you have some calcium pellets(like Excel or something), put it in 2 liter bottles with water and float it in your sump. The chemical heat will stay hotter longer than the heated water. 3 or 4 of those should give you some good heat output. You may be able to float some in the display as well. Try heating the DIY rocks and putting them in ziploc bags and sinking those.

I tried him on the 2-way and no answer. What do you guys think? Take him a generator? They haven't plowed anything here yet so I imagine the roads are bad, and I assume he has no power still or he'd have posted here.
Chris

Yeah I just talked with him, he was getting ready to start the generator, but the temp in the tank was down to 53 and he thinks nothing is alive. What a shame, I hope it's not as bad as he thinks, but if I heard him correct and it was 53 that is bad.
Chris

Tank temp 64
Ph 7.7 tank a bit cloudy, some coral is sliming.
skimmer broke...Does anyone have a 200watt heater he can borrow??

I only have the heaters in my tanks. I can pick up anything he needs here in the springs and run it out there but I need to be at work by 2pm.
