Actually ...as I went to take some pics...(which the batteries are dead:hmm4:)..I see the spots are actually just some bubbles on the fish
 
I think you said you put your clowns in a separate tank now. If you are going to medicate them this would be called a hospital tank. I would use a product called Kordons Rid ICh +. I have used it for Ich, and for Brookynella, with great success.

Just remember to do daily 25% water changes. You also want to run your display tank without any fish for at least 8 weeks. The ich will have no hosts and will die. You can have a DT without Ich. From now on(like people have already suggested) you should QT your new fish for 2-4 weeks to make sure they have no illness.

If the fish are doing better I would leave them in the DT. Without an established QT system more harm than good can come out of moving them IMO. If you don't get the treatment right, it may best worse than the disease itself.
 
Good luck with them. Treat them until they are healthy. I would keep your DT fish less for 8 weeks then put them back in. Been tank raise, you should be able to keep in the quarantine/treatment tank for 8 weeks. Put a flower pot or some thing in it to keep them comfortable.
 
Hmm...now have a couple of options here I see... well an quick update..cause I am back from the store...I bought cupramine, stress coat and marine buffer to make sure the PH stays where it needs to be..In both the DT and QT tanks...SO..the clowns look real normal today..natural actions of swimming and such..1 left the anemome and went to the other side of the tank...is the female..who was the one always in the anemone before..but that aside...I am thinking of taking the sand out of the QT and setting up half way to 3/4 full of water putting the sponge filter in it and keeping it running from now on...(added note) they aren't new fish..I had them in a 20 for a bit and were perfect...but when I upgraded i think i used contaminated stuff..rock,sand and such...where I thought was good enough..but...we see where that went...So...Have the QT going and I have the cupramine if needed..but am thinking of just continuing with the hypo since the fish are looking extremely better..and if I see a fall in their health..I have the QT as emergency...Reason being..I have done that "preferred" method before and worked great....and never used Chemicals before..I don't even have a copper test kit on hand..I can get no problem..but I have to go to work soon and am afraid if I do the treatment wrong..while I'm at work..things go real bad and I kill them...And from research..cupramine is some serious stuff...So I think ill drop the salinity another .002 and go to work and see how its going...Please continue with your thoughts even if is different from others..All your help has been great and my fish made it another night and thanks again...so if you see any flaws or you would do something different ..let me know...

A quick edit:..I am also going to put in a cleaner shrimp or cleaner goby..which ever i can get my hands on first
 
Yes..they are...I had no chemicals for treatment ..was 1 in the morning..but now i went to the store and have them and just got back..So I figured the best i could do at the time was start hypo, 10% water change, airation and a UV
 
if you are sure it is ich and want to hypo (or copper), then get your clowns out of the DT. Hypo will kill the bacteria on the rock and your corals. Copper will contaminate the rock to the point that it cannot be used for corals ever again and the copper will kill the corals.
 
So far the 1 thing I do know..NEVER add copper to a tank..only a bare QT..And as i look..the small clown is going down now..so i am making an executive decision base on what you are telling me and will follow..QT get set and clowns go in it for 10 weeks..and DT fishless for that time aswell..and I will have a brand new DT tank ICK FREE!!!!!!!!!!!

yes i agree with your analysis at 2:40pm. i would frequenltly test for amonia and do WC's since there isn't any Lr/sand for filtration
 
Since you are going to keep them there for long term. It maybe wise to invest in a small fluidized filter. They are very efficient in keeping amonia/nitrite at 0. You still neeed to do water change when nitrate increase. I highly recommended it for QT tank.
Also, once you finish with treatment, you can keep it is a quarantine reef tank. This is one of the reason I keep multiple tanks. One of the small tank is almost always fish-less. I use it as a coral, clams and fish quarantine tank. It is a fully running Aquapod 24 with 150 W MH.

I know it,..I am a bit of a religous man..I prayed 3x since last night and just before walking in the door....and glad to say..they are looking the best they have in 3 days...I have them in the 10g QT tank and was sooo scared about leaving and using the cupramine...i only did half the recommended dose for 10g....THANKS ALL SOOOOOO MUCH>>>just love those clowns...then I saw someone post "SNOWCASSOS"...just what I need...more exotic clowns...They were just so kool too...But I will keep posted..and WILL keep up on water changes ..right now there is just a piece of rock and a sponge filter...never did a QT tank before...I WILL KEEP IT UP AND RUNNING AT ALL TIMES ..as long as I am in this hobby....I can test the water no worries..But wanted to also ask...since I never did a QT tank....any thing different...or keep regular perameters..only difference is that there is medicine in it hey?? what about lighting...normal?
 
Since you've medicated the fish in this tank, it is not a QT tank its hospital tank. Youll want to get a separate tank that hasnt been used for medicating to be safe(just my opinion).If I put a light on it I would put a low power light. I usually just run an actinic for a little each day. Keep feeding them, hopefully youve already starting soaking the food in garlic guard or a similar product.

I haven't yet...used garlic guard or something comparable...what is that for?..what does that do??...And I can use that just for hospitalizing..and set up another for a QT..So a QT is basically just a holding tank to see if anything breaks out with the fish from the stress of delivery within 2 weeks of getting them?....is that correct...and the QT should be just a basic normal set up..a bit of substrate and proper filtration ..reg. heat and somewhat light...no?...and a QT After medicating ..i should break down and clean best I can..and have water handy for a quick set up using the water from what ever tank something needs hospitalizing from??..sorry new to the hospital and QT thing
