Emperor Angel 12 days in QT need educated eye

These pail little patches under his chin also appear on his forhead and on his body. Not all over the place but here and there.

He has begun a bit of a twitch. Just started last night.

He has a great appetite. Eats nls pellets, fresh clams, sea veggies and seaweed extreme. All foods are soaked in Zoe and Zoecon.

As soon as I dosed the Prazipro he started to poop white strings and still is periodically.

His qt is due for a water change tonight.

Any idea of what it may be?

Doesn't look like ich...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't tell anything for sure from the pic. Are these patches grain sized or something larger?

The twitching/white poop are both symptoms of flukes. Could also be intestinal parasites. Treating with Prazi is a good first step. But you'll need to do 2 doses - 5 to 7 days after the 1st.

I may have jumped th gun a bit with prazi. I started it this monday. Did a big water change tonight and added another full dose of Prazi.

We will see how he does. He's an eating machine right now.

Yeah definitely do a minimum of 2 full treatments of prazipro. make sure you really shake the bottle before you dose.
Angels usually get patches when they get stressed or scared. My emperator gets them occasionally when I clean the tank and then it goes back to normal.
