Emperor Angel safe for an all softie tank?

I really want to add and emperor angel to my softie tank but wanted to see some experiences. My tank is all softies and LPS (frogs, hammers, torches only). I have no zoas, brains, wellso or clams. Everything i've read on here says they eat those. I have a ton of xenia, GSP, leathers, colts , kenya trees, etc.

Anyone have one that went after those types of corals?

thanks!!!

I have a friend who has an Emperor and is fine with soft corals. He has pretty much what you have in your tank. He did, gobble up most of his zoas though.

Big angels seem to like zoas but it all comes down to the individual fish I think. I had one that destroyed gsp and zoas but nothing else.

I think it might help to get them small as possible before they develop a taste for coral

I have some large and small angels in a mixed reef. Imperator is the only one that has eaten any corals. First it ate the Parazoanthus, the all the Zoathus' and some Protopalythoa. All of those I was willing to sacrifice... As far as any "good coral" none of the angels have eaten any.

Well. They dont/cant eat anemones because of the toxin right? But from what i've read in here, they eat everything else in many cases. Rule of thumb is 50/50 with angels.

I have been a bit confused about these fish, because people have different opinions on them. I have a "reef" tank with mostly anemones, and some clowns/anthias.

The problem is that I also have a bicolor angel, and if the Emperor is safe in my tank, will the bicolor be safe from the emperor?

I have had a queen, bicolor and emporator all in the same tank with sps, softies, and anenomes all without issues.

Sent from inside the shark tank!

They are so different species...
I have a 8+" imperator, 6" navarchus, ~4" asfur and loricula, 3,5" bipinosus and acanthops and a 2,5" argi and they all get along nicely.

So form what im reading and hearing they typically only eat zoas and not regular paly's?...does this sound about right?

The main corals I am worried about are all the frogs, hammers and torches I have

Well I got my emperor this weekend. 4" juvi been in the tank 2 days and already eating NLS pellets and Nori. All corals safe so far.
