Emperor Angelfish

I'm just curious if you know when you'll be getting more emperor angelfish in stock to buy (specifically juveniles). I contacted the retail store in Rhinelander and they had nothing in stock. If I order through the California facility, I was just wondering if the angelfish specifically also go through that 2 week quarentine and more specifically get some type of Prazipro treatment or the like for worms? I heard angelfish today are having more problems dealing with worms. Would this be something I need to worry about when ordering one and should have some prazipro on hand right out of the bag or are they already treated for it when they come in?

Also, if none anytime soon are going to be comming in for regular sale, are any juveniles going to be posted on Diver's Den soon? Winter is comming and I don't know how or if you ship during the winter. It's already getting in the 40s. :(

Thanks!

t5Nitro,

Thank you for your post. In our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility, we quarantine our fish a minimum of two weeks, to several months or more for delicate species. At our California Facility our fish are quarantined for as long as necessary to determine they are not ill and also they they are eating well. Both facilities offer quarantine procedures, but extra time is taken at our Aquaculture Coral and Marine Life Facility to ensure that these rare, and sometimes more sensitive species are completely ready for shipment. However, we always recommend using a quarantine procedure for all new specimens no matter where they are purchased from.

Although, we do our best to ensure the fish are healthy before shipment, we are unable to guarantee that live specimens won’t have parasites. It is customer choice if you would like to purchase Prazipro.

We are happy to tell you, we ship our live specimens all winter long. Each order is shipped with heat packs to eliminate a fast drop in the temperature. We are very successful shipping all year long as we monitor the weather daily to ensure our specimens arrive in the best possible condition.

We recommend signing up for our Diver’s Den Alert for the availability of our beautiful Emperor Angelfish. We are including the link for your convenience.
