Emperors eat blastos?

I want to try a blasto but I don't know if the emp will eat it. What has been your experience?

I had a emperor in the past and it did nothing to my lps, zoas. However, it did bother the clam a bit.

I had a juvy that beat the crap out of my blastos and open brains.

dirty, did that change as it got older? My emp popped polyps off sps all the time when it was small but since has really stopped.

I ended up getting rid of it because it was nipping at my SPS, it was only in the tank for about 5 months but was a real small juvy so he never really grew that much or transformed.

I think they're more tempted from "fleshier" corals like blastos and brains, but I've also heard they go after zoos (which I don't personally keep so no experience).

As far as my experience goes. It ate the polyps when it was small because everything else was too big.

i once had an emperor that ate a caulastrea, so I guess they would go after blasto too.

Wow. Doesn't candy cane look like it would be disgusting to eat. eewww.

you'd think. There was a sponge growing bewteen the head, and i think he was trying to get at that, but the coral got in the way. once he got a taste, it only lasted about 3 minutes.

If it's small I don't think it will go strait for them because of the size. But a larger one may be a different story.
