I am needing a new pump for my sump on my new 120G display in wall build. Are the enheim's quiter? Start better? Less Microbubbles?

Thanks

Eheim's are a better pump.
My Eheim 1262 is dead silent. The 3 mag 9.5's I have are pretty noisey.

I have three Eheim pumps and 6 eheim filters for over 20 yrs Quite and the best money for any pump or filter I have tried and they run 15 to 20 yrs w/o one impellar problem or any problem for that matter. The only way to go in my opinion. I even have one running my wife"s garden fountain for the last 5 yrs. Good luck!

Eheims are pricey but worth it. Just make sure you get the proper flow. Different skimmers require different flows through the sump. My Euro Reef is between 350 to 400 gallons a hour, and I have a 120 tank. They're a lot of people using Eheims for return pumps so you should get good info. on them if you went that route. I used a Mag 7 in my 55 then that and a old school quiet one pump in unison I like the ability of running both or just one, say at night, and on different circuits encase the GFI gets tripped. PS I have a Eheim canister filter 2013 that is over 25 years old and still works.. Good luck

I use eheim 1260 from my sump to tank as return and they are whisper quiet and give great flow, one tank setup for 10 yrs w eheim return, never one issue, the best in my opinion. I am currently looking to try the Eheim needlewheel for my 180 vertex, the only pump I will ever consider! See my previous post I tried Mags and other pumps not worth the noise and cannot compare to Eheims. As always they are worth the extra cost if you want quality and reliabilty.

I'll be using my I-tech 200 with Sicce PSK 2500 pump. I think does 250 GPH. After head loss 600-gph would be going to skimmer and fuge with Enheim 1262 or Mag 9.5.

Maybe I'll go with 1260. It is kind of like the heart of the system.
