enough filtration?

I wasn't sure where to post this.... anyways. I was wondering if I had a heavily stocked 125 gal fowlr and a 33 long reef tank that shared the same water (they would plumbed to the same sump), would this be enough filtration:

-55 gal sump that had a coralife 220 SS (not the greatest i know, but i've been able to get it tweaked pretty good)
-carbon reactor
-gfo reactor
-extra LR
-then a seperate 20 long with DSB and marcoalgae and 4x36watt T-5 HO

would this be enough? if not would a properly sized ATS balance it out?

I would seperate the systems.

A heavily stocked FOWLR is going to be a nightmare to keep the water "reef quality".

You have two different systems with much different requirements. You will have to keep the FOLWR water calcium up to reef standards for example. You are going to be spending a lot of money to keep this going.

You'd be better off spending the money to separate the systems.

I agree with Aquaman, keep them separate. I have both a FOWLR and a reef and I considered doing this before. I am glad I didn't. I feed the FOWLR heavier than the reef and it is challenging at times to keep nitrates and algae outbreaks under control. This would be unacceptable for a reef and would be a nightmare for you. JMO

Thank you so much for replying, I think they will be separate because the FOWLR will be set up first anyways. I didn't think of the nitrates though so thank you. Also, I was considering turning the FOWLR into a reef (would be waiting to upgrade the lights) in the future but I'm going to decide against.
