Enough Flow

Hello,

I am considering buying two vortechs and I am wondering if it will satisfy all my flow needs or will I need to add additional flow. The tank is 48x30x17(lxwxh), and I plan on keeping a barebottom system with high flow species.

Hi EJ Coral,

For a tank of that size you may be able to start with just one MP40w pump but if the goal is high flow species and bare bottom, two pumps would be the ideal solution.
