Hey guys. I just bought a purple sebae anemone (h. crispa) yesterday. I turned off my powerheads and put him on the sand snuggled up to a couple rocks and he put his foot down in about 15 minutes. I have never kept H. crispa, so I have zero experience with them. I have however kerpt multiple and still keep one BTA. Ive done my due dilligence and learned about their care before purchasing. One common denominator for everyone with a sebae seems to be very high light requirements. I keep a full blown SPS tank with a wild caught tahitian maxima in the sandbed with no problems so I know my lights are very strong, I just wanted to get opinions frim some nem experts here. I have a 125 gallon reef ready tank which the height is 21". The fixture is a 6x54 watt t5 HO aquaticlife fixture with 3 actinic plus. 2 lagoon blue, and one pink plus bulb, ALL GEISEMANn bulbs. The bulbs are about 26'' from the sandbed where the purple sebea anemone has taken refuge. What do you guys think, good on light or needs more? If it needs more I will move it to my 20 L which has a 6x18Watt T5 HO fixture over it but that tank is only 12'' tall.

Ok thank you, it stayed where I originally put it saturday evening until sunday morning. It moved overnight but has since stayed where it moved to and is nicely inflated. Its mouth is also very tightly closed and overally appears to be doing well. I am going to try and give it a very small piece of raw shrimp this evening to see how it responds
