Enough Light

I'm considering a single Lumenarc III Reflector with a 400w 14,000K MH for my AGA92 Corner.

My concern with that is it would only give me 4.35w/gallon.

The other configuration I am looking at, two 250w MHs and four 96w VHO Fluorescents, would give me 9.6w/gallon.

I eventually want to keep clams, so I need to know if the single MH would be enough.

Please advise.

Please read this thread for info on lighting for clams.

My recommendation would be at least 150 w mh or 200w of t5's or more

watts per gallon is a useless term. what is the height of the tank? I cant imagine youd have any problem with a 400 watt MH.

The tank is 24 inches high with a 34 inch radius.
