enough lighting for a clam

Hello, I have 55 Gallon tank with T5 Current Nova Extreme Pro lighting. See link below. I would like a clam but do not want to kill it if I do not have enough lights for a clam. What do you think?

I have 2 clams in my 55 at the bottom of the tank. See my lghting below. It's not just the lighting. Parameters MUST be right.

under 2" clams need supplemental feeding of phytoplankton in addition to lighting.If they are larger than 2" they are mainly photosynthetic and just require lighting.You lighting is sufficient for clams,but your water chemistry does need to be in safe perimeters.Adding additives is a must too.

I kept a maxima with VHO's for years and it thrived. I had it on top of the rock to keep it up high
