Enough Lighting?

I am planning on purchasing a Metal Halide/PC lighting system. Is a 150 watt MH w/ 2 24 PC lights enough for an aquarium that is 23" deep. I plan on mostly LPS/ Softies w/ a clam or two.

for the LPS and softies prob. yes however the clams are prob. no.

any reason for not going with 250 watts? they are not much more in price.

Some guy is selling his fixture used for 150 compared to like 400. Just wondering if I should jump on it.

IMO I wouldn't try keeping a clam with 150 watters, unless placed up high.

i think sam has said it all, definately go for the 250 rather than the 150, clams need lots of light, nothing else to add
