I am thinking about starting a nano for my desk at work. I bought a 2.5 gallon glass tank and I want to put 4x13 watt PCs over it. Would that be enough for a clam?

Yea shoud be enough but your tank is really too small. The clams squamosa and deresa would do the best but they grow too fast, they would out-grow the tank in a few months. Crocea is the smallest but also the most difficult.

When he outgrows the 2.5 he goes to the 6, then to the 10 then to the 120. I got that part figured out.
