Entire Tank and Setup For Sale

So I had to make a tough decision today, and regret to post this, but for now its the best decision for my situation.

I'd like to sell my entire 34g Solana setup to someone who is thinking of entering into the hobby or someone who wants a nice setup all in one purchase. I have to bow out of the hobby for a while and want all my stuff to go to a good home if possible.

With my 9 month old son and my photography hobby that is slowly turning into a second job, I don't have the time to treat this tank and livestock fairly.
I will eventually be back in the hobby with a bigger tank, and from what I've learned with this one, feel I know how to get started again after my leave of absence. It won't be the last you'll see of me, promise.

I spent about $1800 on the setup, before the live rock and fish and frags.
I think I'll start with asking around $1000 for all of the following...

1 x 34g Solana Tank and Espresso Stand
1 x EcoTech Marine VorTech MP40w
1 x ATI 24" Powermodule 24w x 4 bulbs (4 extras too)
1 x ReefKeeper Elite w/ Net
1 x Sapphire Aquatics Solana Skimmer
2 x Marineland Stealth Heaters
1 x Water General RO/DI unit

This setup will also include:
Pinpoint pH Probe for RKE
Refractometer
2.5 gallon tank for ATO
Toms Aqualifter pump for ATO
Autotopoff.com float switches (1 main, 1 for fail safe)
API Reef Test Kit
API Marine Test Kit
Brightwell Magnesion-P supplement
SeaChem Reef Builder
SeaChem Marine Buffer
SeaChem Reef Buffer
Sailifert Magnesium (Mg) Profi Test Kit
1/2 a bucket of SeaChem Reef Salt

Anything and everything I have related to this tank will go to the person who wants to purchase the entire setup, buckets, pumps, hoses, etc...
I suppose I could sell it piece by piece, but only after the livestock was sold and found a good home first. Then I could break down the tank and sell it off. I'd rather not do this, and sell it to someone who wants to get up and running quickly, but that is not always the easiest way to sell a tank setup, I know.

I posted pictures in my build tread of all the stuff you will get, but this is back when it was all brand new, its one year old now, but you'll get an idea of what all I put into this setup...

Please PM me with any questions and I'll try to answer them as quickly and best I can.

Thanks.

Well, if you know of someone that MIGHT be interested, send them this way.

Forgot to mention about the live stock, if anyone is interested in it...alone...

I have the following:

35-40lbs of Live Rock
1 x Yellow Watchman Goby
1 x False Perc Clown
1 x Blue/Green Chromis
3 x Emerald Crabs

Several Hermit Crabs and CUC (snails)

From the link that you provided on the build, this looks like a heck of a deal and a great system. It would probably of great use to post a photo of the tank as it sits now though.

Any other specific shots, let me know and I'll take some and put up.

I've gotten several offers on pieces of the setup already and I'm keeping them in my inbox and replying privately to. I want to try to sell the entire setup whole, first, as it is probably easier to deal with all one sale. But those of you who are sending offers on the pieces just hang tight till I get a few of the whole setup offers done/countered etc...again, I'd rather it all go to one person, but it might not be possible. Thanks for being patient.

Tank Sold to Zen685, entire setup is gone. I'm offically out of the game. :(

But, if its any consolation, I did LEARN a whole lot in my year with this tank, and I feel I have a great idea and know a lot more about my next tank when the time comes to set it up.
I won't be so blind and will have a great understanding of what I need to purchase and how to set it up.

For that, I am grateful to have had this tank.

The next one will be a custom job, from a great custom tank builder maybe A.G.E or something close, and will be 100g+ so I can enjoy some trigger fish.

Sorry to see you go, Trigger - best of luck with the Canon.

Congrats to Zen, glad that nice Solana has found a home here in Edmond.

Thanks Liightsluvr! I actually bought the entire system because I wanted all of the livestock and several of the components. I already have a 120g up and running and I won't have time to take care of two tanks even though I want to. It's a beautiful little setup. If anyone is still interested in the tank and stand let me know.

On a side note for Triggerhappy, all of the livestock down to the last snail made it and we didn't lose anything.

Awesome to hear, glad you knew what you were doing, I might have failed at that part without you! :)

I'm really glad my stuff went to Zen685, he's a bright nice guy, who knows what he's doing, an engineer at that, so I feel very good to have sold him some great equipment for the future of his tank.

You did leave a white lid to one of your tubs at my house, I've got it for you if you need to figure out some time to get it back.

Also, forgot to mention some of those rocks, the bigger ones, had a pretty bad aiptasia colony on it, so you might keep the rocks in quarantine, till you can get rid of that stuff.

Thanks for the kind words. I'd hold off on the bright part. I've pumped a lot of water onto my floors over the last few years. :)

The rocks will be just fine. I had an aptaisia breakout a few years ago but now the stuff won't live in my tank. It must not like hair algae. :)
