I told you get a woman and stop watching cartoons.

Business 101:

Don't air your dirty laundry for all to see.

Show a "little" professionalism and PM this person that has an issue.

A lot of ebayers browse this forum, and surely you can't think you've said anything here to help your business.

as far as i can tell the real envy's have an orange skirt, yours don't, they look like common rpe's to me.

i wouldnt sell ur zoas as envy oranges because they simply are not. thats all you need to know. i really hate internet online companies that sell zoos for high price bills... i hope zoos drop in value and no1 looks at them again. this is just stupid how much people are charging.

oh yeah zoafrags, that like a business man/women because this gangstaz talk isn't looking to professionalz.

good nitez and take carez

I didn't realize until now how RC really takes care of this forum. tsk tsk tsk.

What, people shouldn't be able to discuss in a discussion forum? If this were a selling forum, the mods would have stepped in and said something because it is wrong to voice opinions in those threads. Discussion forums are usually for discussion...

I've never had any dealings with you, zoafrags, but I do how you run your ebay operations. It is a legitimate business in legal terms. However, the business practices I've seen certainly don't seem ethical (I think we've all seen the inverted Tub's blues pics that weren't yours to begin with, but were selling zoas for you on ebay). This is a free society with capitalism, so making a living is not an issue, but the practice of getting something dirt cheap from a wholesaler to turn around and sell individual polyps at a higher price than you paid for the colony does not foster helping fellow reefers (which is what sites like Reef Central are all about). New people come into this hobby and see a potential to turn huge profit because lately, even plain run of the mill paly's that grow like weeds are pulling some serious per polyp prices. They expect to get the same price or more for their frags, and the next expects more until pricing becomes very unstable and eventually crashes. The biggest issue I have with it is the loss of corals due to chop shopping and buying something from one person one day to sell to another a few days later. These are not stocks and bonds. One doesn't have to wonder why there have been increasing numbers of thread about people's newly purchased zoas melting. Sure, the frag may be replaced, but that is irresponsible on the sellers part if he/she hasn't done all they can do to ensure the health of the animal before selling. Would you treat any other animal like that? Also, just because prices can be pushed further and further doesn't mean they should be pushed to the breaking point. Anyone with business sense knows they have to stop pushing at some point or the price will break (except apparently oil). So if the attitude is enjoy the ride while it lasts, the hobby is in jeopardy.

To add to that, your responses here have been quite childish. I'm sure you won't suffer in sales from it, but making a public beef with someone is usually not a good business practice.

To your question, I agree with several of those responding. Those are more likely the true RPE's (or OPE's if under lower K lighting). Envy Oranges don't have the dark center. The dark center is pretty noticeable in your pic.

It is not Envy Orange.

Let me explain to everyone to show why I do not think it is even OPE.

There is just good number of zoa collectors (Including me) thinking OPE is actually RPE but show little more orange ton due to light/water param difference.
The reason behind this is no one has seen a single pic RPE/OPE togather side by side (Both frags have to be in same tank condition over 2 months)

Red/Orange is the most hard to tell color on corals.
If you do have RPE you will know it is Orange RED (Red but has little orange ton) not RED RED so with few different params change it could totally show orange.

If that is Envy Orange or OPE... I have a whole colony which I just bought from LFS few days ago

Please do not PM me for a frag as it will stay as it is for min 2 months in my display to see if it will maintain orange color - this is main reason I got this colony. (Well I hope it will keep it's orange color but I do know 99% it will turn Orange RED not Orange)

Well, if it's the envy orange...lucky buyer would get it cheap.

No offense were taken. But we run legit business like everybody else.

What do you mean by people like us?? It seems like you have a problem with online reef businesses owners or some kind. Like everyone else , we run a legit business.

that problem being that these forums aren't meant for you to pimp your pics to get more interest in your business or your auctions, these are forums for learning, not pimping

Just to clarify things all up, ZOAFRAGS and ULTIMATEFRAGS are the same operation. Also, don't forget about the "mohawk palythoa" from ultimatefrags. You can buy them almost everywhere in the BayArea by the colony for the price of a polyp. Same goes for X-Men, Incredible Hulk, etc.....

I will do his in one blanket warning. Any more of this type of childish name-calling and arguing will result in people getting "time-outs."

zoafrags - as soon as you began discussing your ebay business, you were advertising. That is not permitted. Any further commercial posts will result in your removal from ReefCentral. You will have further communication from me shortly.
