Amazing thread, thank you very much for posting this. I have an RO/DI unit right now but I am using it the old fashioned way. This gives me some great ideas on how to make it work better for me.

How the Heck IS everybody out there???
It has been so long since I first wrote this thread but the information is timeless! I want to therefore bump it to the top so that new hobbyists can see how easy it is to install RO/DI in their own homes. I believe this to be such an important part of reef husbandry (water quality) that I only wish the powers that be had made it a sticky, but (sigh) politics as they are, I don't see that happening any time soon
The Lazy Reefmeister is VERY much still in the hobby....and as a matter of fact my main career now focuses on a very large aquarium show (that I'm not allowed to name here per RC rules) out here in Southern California. If any of you are in the area for vacation or whatnot, I invite you to stop by and visit and talk reef for while.

I now am the proud owner of a Redsea MAX S650 WHITE stand/Black sand/starfire glass ohh, but I've got to stop for now. So much to see and talk about, but for now, this is a BUMP for RO/DI for Dummies!!!!
