REEF NERD
I have a few questions about using it. Is it a good practice or is it a cheap way of adding magnesium. And if its a good way what is the ratio of mixing it and will it add po4.Oh and is there any special kind i should look for. thanks :D

Check out Randy's article on the Two Part Calcium additive. The 'third' part of it is epsom salt I believe.

Do a search from the Homepage 'Search Tools' link for 'Randy's Two Part'

Using strictly epson salt, or Magnesium Sulfate, can result in elevated sulfate levels in the tank. This can be managed by more frequent water changes. A mixture of Magnesium Chloride and Magnesium Sulfate is the best course of action.
