what is the advantage of a raceway style frag tank. iv wanted one and that looks nice

you can have different types of flow in each section, rather than the whole tank high or low flow. you can also seperate types of corals without worrying about them touching eachother. for example, one section for lps, the other sps, and another for softies.

Not sure what you mean. You can use any tank you want. The footprint of the sump is 32"x22" so the stand or whatever you are putting the sump on needs to be at least those dimensions.

Did you run the Lifereef VS2-24 in that sump, how did you like the skimmer?

I actually did not run that skimmer with that setup. At the time I was using a VS3-36 skimmer, it was already on the tank. I had the old VS2-24 skimmer and it was the same footprint so it put in the sump to see if everything fit correctly.

But I did like the VS2-24 skimmer. I think it preformed very well.
