We all know what it is like to bring things to meetings and only togo home with them  So i propose this:

We organize a list/ thread posted in both club forums with a list of what we are looking for. Equipment and frag wise. Then if anyone has that particular thing we can bring it along?

We can also post a list of what we have to sell but i think it would possibly be easier if we posted what we were looking for. That is if you really know what you are looking for and not a spontaneous buyer like many of us, me included!

Just my .02

If that makes any sense to anyone? I have alot of things but have no interest in lugging it all around.

we were kinda waiting to make a thread because we are coordinating it with hvrk ....things are still up in the air as to how they wanna handle this.

There will be a different thread started...

Some of it maybe pre-sold but I'd more or less like to some how organize some interest in what people have to offer before bringing it. I could give a list of what equipment & frags i am seeking. Someone who has it reads it posts i have that and then could arrange a price or a trade.

Or we could just post what we have to sell and what we are looking to buy. That would work but yes may also lead to pre-arranged sale. Then again similar to another rescent thread whatever it takes to sell things right? At least other local reefers will benefit:)

as I said when the VP of HVRK gets back to me I can post how he thinks we should run it and we can go from there. It's not to long from now so we should have it going within the next day or 2. They will want to manage the "master" list on there forum, cause they have admin rights and can better sort and manage the list.

one thing I did before heading to DC and taking a big ETSS skimmer with me was to ask specifically if someone wanted to buy it. For folks with big things that are a pain, I think it is very reasonable to throw that out before hauling it and no one wanting it. A "wanted" list is great as well.

I guess I do see the point, after putting my 8 foot tall CC skimmer in the dumpster at the frag meet. I still can't believe nobody wanted that!
