equipment placement

Hi i have a aqua euro 34 gallon all in one setup. i was curious if it matters where i place my protein skimmer in the back. will any chamber work or does it have to be first one?

I would think any chamber would work that it fits in. I would want it after any filtration I had to avoid the excess waste in the skimmer cup that the filter will remove

I would place it in the second chamber after the filter
