Equipment Room Question ventilation humidity

I have a 300 in my house and a 150 sump and 150 fuge in my garage. I live in Florida so we have some extreme humidity. I set my tank up a few years back and it has been on cruise controll, I am sure some of the olde guys might remember me. I have been doing a lot of other stuff but nothing with the tank lately. So it mostly fish with some soft corals.

I am finaly going to fix my garage where all my equipment is. I need to start working on a couple of my cars but have been affraid to use my garage because of humidity. My origanal plan was to frame in my sump room are and put a used sliding glass door in. Than i was going to take a duct from my home ac and add it to the little room in my garage. My tank is in my office a room I made and my ac return is in the same room.

Problem 1
I have been thinking is if I put the a/c vent in garage into my sump room, it will put more salt water humidty into my home a/c. I know it does already get a lot since my main return is right buy my display. I was thinking of buying a wall unit but the added extra cost of electricity and than I am sure I will have to replace it in 3 or 4 years. It might be worth it to save my home A/C or I may just be fine with a vent in the roof from my central a/c and a exhaust vent to outside my garage?????

Problem 2
My second question is reactor for nitrates. I want to start adding corals in the winter. I used to have a high fish count and like to keep it like that. I never got around to using my nitrate reactor which I already bought all the media and made the reactor. but had a leak in my tank. I was thinking about converting a kalk reactor of mine for nitrate, but before I dropped off the planet from R/C I saw everyone using biopellet. I like the fact that the media in a nitrate reactor last a long time and really didn't want another added cost of replacing another media for a bio pellet reactor. I as planning on getting a calcium reactor so the kalk would make a perfect reactor. With 450-600 volume stuff cost more and this isn't my only hobby, so overall cost is always a factor. I think with the reactor and a 50 gallon water change monthly or bi monthly. I should be ok. My fish are fine and my softies if this means no hard that that is fine with me. At least I can add some more softies and fish with confidence.

Problem 3
I have lost my second anemone in my power heads. Should I just keep them off for a month untill the anemone settles in or try to sew it into a rock so it can't move. Maybe after it is in my tank and finds a spot it likes with flow and light than try to secure it. If my power heads are off and it settles when I get them going again than it might move again if the flow changes. Have i just had bad luck twice in a row. I didn't go closed loop because I get decent flow from power heads for the current they use. I just don't want to take the chance and kill another one. Most of my fish I have had for a few years some 5-7.

I will post some pics of my setup.. Thanks for help guys.
