I have an ocean runner 3500 (900 gal/hr) and want to trade for a smaller ocean runner 2500 (600 gal/hr) or something compatible. lmk.

Hey Tom. Would the 3500 be better for my skimmer or is that too much? I have a 2500 running it now.

the bigger pump will be better but your pump is made for the needle wheel so I am not sure if it will be interchangeable. btw, I still can't find the pump for ASM g3 skimmer. I think Jason borrowed it but am not sure.

I'm trying to find info on if the parts are interchangeable, still looking. I do have a mag drive that puts out about 600gal/hr. You can have that if it will work.

Thats cool, can I try that mag and which model is it? I am trying to use less power. my 3500 uses 65-70 watt so if the mag uses about 40 that would be great. I am also turning off one of the 3 pumps on my skimmer. and turning off the kalk pump. Soon I'll use one less 72" vho and turning up the temp on my chiller.
