It's a sad thing for all of the animals in his tank , But he receives no sympathy from me , because of his actions here on RC and some of it's members .

the pictures he showed at the WMC were just heart breaking, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and all that will be effected by such a loss. he had some of us in tears. i got a lot of respect for him considering his recent loss (like 3 or 4 days before the WMC) and him coming out and giving such a great presentation at the WMC.

Guys, I don't think Eric closed the thread. And i was out at WMC too, and something like that sucks for anyone that has invested that much time and effort into the hobby, and for the animals that perished. Let's leave the personal attacks for another time, no?

It happens to all of us at some point. We have all lost things for no good reason. Its horrible but we all can learn from whatever went wrong. A fan of his or not shouldnt take away nor add to the fact that a great deal was lost. Just something to think about everyone..........

Yes, also I was mistaken--Eric did shut down that thread, but only because he was tired of going over and over it with everyone and having to defend himself. I'm sure the conversation will continue in the other threads about it, but they guy is really upset after losing a lot of things, including quite a bit of livestock he had had for many years.

I agree with you , I would never wish this on anyone , But since it did happen I was glad it was him . Just because he puts on a happy face for people who buy his books , it doesn't make him a nice person . Again what he did here against RC and some members was well planed and vicious , and how bad I feel for the loss of those animals it doesn't change who he is .:mad2:

Sorry if some people don't agree with me , But I've had enough of some experts acting the way they do . They are experts not God or fashion police . If you don't like what people say or who they are , avoid them not get them banned or post pot shots . I understand they are extreemly smart , but nobody knows all and doesn't give you the right to peer down your nose at others . This site is supossed to be flame free , including the experts .

I'll step off my soap box now and refrain from further rants , But I had to get that off my chest .
