eshopps skimmer

has anyone uses an eshopps protein skimmer. They are quite inexpensive... you tube demo videos make them liik like the greatest thing ever (for the price) If anyone actually has ine let me know what you think.

A buddy of mine has the Eshopps skimmer and didnt like it at all. It didnt skim that well. You basically get what you pay for.

i have a psk-300

here is mine. its my first real skimmer and its working pritty good. i had a bak-pak skimmer before this so i dont have a lot of experience with "real skimmers." i moved up from a 55gal with the bak-pak to my 300total with this skimmer. its skimming some dark stuff for me so what can i say. im sure there are better and more expensive skimmers out there but i would have to give a thumbs up for this one

thanks.. I can tell from the lack of response that not many people have tried this skimmer of have strong opinions if they have. The vertex skimmers look great for only a little more $. I think I'll try one. Thanks

the oct extrem are a little more and people rave about them, give them a try

The eshopps cone skimmers look good but their other stuff is not as nice. For a cone though, I would just go for an I-Tech, cheaper and nicer.
