Hello everyone, i'm in the market to get a new sump as i'm about to sell my old one mainly because is very small and really can't put much equipment in it. I'm really looking for a big sump, reason being is if i upgrade my system i can keep it with me. I've been looking for a while and this are the 2 that have caught my attention, either the eshopps r300 refugium or the skimz up36 or up39, my question is those anybody have have any experience with these sump? If so what are the pros and cons? I think the trigger systems 36 is my 3rd option. Thanks

I own a Skimz 34 sump and I love it. I found the ATO chamber is a little too small but that's the biggest dump I could have fit in my stand. I just use a 5g bucket now on the side of my stand.

I just installed a used EShopps RS-100, which my buddy gave me. I LOVE this thing. So much better than the piece of crap sump that came with my CAD Lights tank.

Sobosreef how it's the adjusment of water level on the skimmer chamber? Looks very nice that sump

The skimmer chamber is adjusted by a turn knob right above the orange sticker. It adjusts from 7-9in. I'm using a Skimz skimmer too and they recommend between 8-8.5in for this skimmer and it's been pulling out some serious gunk lol

Thanks a lot, i really like that you can adjust the water level on the skimz, that's. A very nice feature and it also looks so clean and well made

Yes most definitely worth spending the money for it. Mine has been in use for 4-5 months and it's still perfect. Only thing that stinks is that it's white so you'll be able to see a lot of debris and whatnot if your filter socks get clogged

If you are trying to maximize your space in the sump, make sure you look at the euro bracing or lack there of. The euro bracing takes away useable space inside your sump.

Thanks for the tip, yes euro bracing sometimes is a pain...does anyone know what water level i can get on the eshopps on the skimmer compartment?
