Eunice worm blue bioluminescence

Hello,

I´ve been able to record this worm (Eunicidae) flashing blue bioluminescence.

The light emitted was far more powerful when it was captured. It´s a pity because it was a fantastic effect... but you get the idea with the video.

Neat, I've harassed a few before but never noticed it. Maybe because they were always lit up with a flashlight at night, or thought the sun was reflecting in the day. I bet Leslie Harris would be interested. Maybe she'll find her name next time she pops in here.

Try using a red filter over your dive light.
