My cousin just got this from a LFS in our area and the owner wasnt sure exactly what it is. I believe it is a purple or blue hammer coral but it is very small and hard to decide on the shapes of the heads to get an exact ID on it. Was also wondering what everyone thought its health condition was. Please let me know what you think of it, thanks.

thank you for the response, i have it in the shade right now acclimating. Do you think I should move it into full light at?

I think you hit the nail on the head. I moved it last night during water change to the center of the tank and this morning the tentacles are probably about twice the size. I think the light made a big difference.

This was this morning, my actinics are on right now and the heads are definitely starting to gain color back. Its hard to say for sure which color but to me its an orange or peach tint but its still very light.

I dont think there is much of a doubt left about whether its a hammer or not. Just wish I knew what color it will end up as an adult.
