Euphyllia expelling zooxanthelae?

Now, don't confuse this with the euphy's pooping. Cause this isn't the normal color of what usually comes out on a weekly basis. The stuff they are expelling is luminescent, just like the color of the tentacles actually. It's bright neon green, and coming out of my largest 3 headed hammer. It first reminded me of spawning but I'm not sure if LPS/Euphyllia spawn like this. Can anyone shed some light on this?

What the head furthest back was expelling did to a extent. It looked just like that, but all the little white balls were connected with an opaque slime. However the front looks nothing like that.

That looks like some sort of mucus, from a nearby mushroom or softy possibly? The heads of those hammers are receding. I had the same problem with all the crap that is out there at LFSs that aren't properly cared for. You should watch them closely to make sure they don't recede further. Increasing flow / adding strontium helped my Torches, in similar shape.

They were very happy the day before. Not sure why they're angry today. They aren't receding though, i know that for sure. I've been moving things around in the tank so that could easily have done it. The mucus came straight from the hammers mouth for sure, just never seen that coloration.

How much light do you have? Were they properly acclimated?

Yes they were properly acclimated, i run an evergrow d120. Also known as reefbreeders value fixture. A local club member verified they were spawning. I did find a flat worm (that somehow survived the dip) on a yuma i got this weekend. Ill be keeping my eyes open for more...
