Euphyllia spawning

I've had a E. Divisa for about 4 months and last night while walking past the tank I noticed that it looked not quite right. It was very deflated with the exception of the areas around the mouths. These appeared swollen and while I was peering at it trying to decide if something was wrong, the mouths began ejecting streams of eggs ?
These appeared in bursts and were about the size and colour of newly hatched Artemia. This lasted for about 30 minutes or so but the polyps remained deflated until this morning when its appearance was back to normal. Is this an unusual occurrence ?

spawning in the tank for Euphyilla is not a very common occurance mine has spawned at least once that I know of. It usually means that your coral is comfortabnle in your tank and you are doing everything right I would suggest doing a partial water change to be on the safe side since the spawn that was released will most likely not survive corals have too many free swimming larval stages before becomming permanently attached to a rock.
