euro reef skimmers

I got a quick question. I used to run a 100g for a long time, so on there I just ran a rs-80. but it's weird how euro reef rates their skimmers. rs-80 is for 80g, but asm has one the same exact size, and they say that it's for up to 200g? so how do I know which skimmer model (euro reef) to get for my new set up 210g (mostly sps, and a lot of fishes) I was thinking cs8-1 or cs8-2, but both are rated 130-150g, but they look really big, big enough for 300-400g (they're about the size of the asm g3-g4). does anyone have experience with these, and can tell me if the cs8-1 is enough, or do I need the cs8-2 (which is taller and harder to fit under my cabinet.) any advice would help.

the nice thing about euro-reef is they rate their skimmers on a tank that size, that is very heavily stocked. the kind you would want a nice skimmer for.

I find skimmer ratings in general to be arbitrary to a point. Some I believe are correct. Others are over rated for sure.

under my cabinet I have 27", and just an update, I got a cs8-1, and now a cs8-3, so therefore I can use either or. if I go with the cs8-3 I will be running it outside the cabinet, recirc style/mod, or build a new cabinet. I'm staring at both of them now, and I'm just loving how the 8-3 looks, it's huge and looks crazy. the 8-1 is the same size just shorter. I have another thread I started about my 210g build. I just can't find it now!!!
