Euroreef CS6-2 Tune up help?

I have a four year old Euroreef CS 6-2 running on my 135 reef and it has worked fairly well for the last four years. Recently it seems to be slowing down in skim production and output. The fish load has increased in time just because of growth of the three angels and tangs so I do need a stronger skimmer anyway. Any recommendations on pump replacement or other modifications to improve efficiency for these units?

Thanks for the PM Mr fish. I will look into the optional pump. I have a Sedra 5000 pump currently. I see that some people use oceanrunners.
